Pigmentation treatments

Wrinkles and fine lines are not the only things you need to fight as you age. The increasing cause of concern in ageing is pigmentation. Pigmentation is the abnormal colouring of your skin. This can result from pregnancy and exposure to the elements. Even just a small amount of excess pigment can cause your skin to look mottled and dull.

We can help you in your fight against ageing. We have different options for the treatment of pigmentation using both pulsed light and topical products.

Laser and intense pulsed light treatments are used to blitz away excess pigment.

Laser Genesis is a procedure which utilises a laser developed by Cutera™ to decrease and eliminate pigmentation. This treatment will give your skin a more youthful appearance as it has been proven to stimulate new collagen.

You will need to have a minimum course of four treatments to achieve your best results. Additional treatments may be needed for some skin types, but our clinicians will assess your skin and advise you on this at your initial consultation.

Limelight is another pulsed light treatment we offer at Dermal Aesthetics Medispa. This procedure addresses problems right at the skin’s surface. This treatment offers amazing advantages of improving skin tone and surface imperfections associated with ageing and photo damage.

We also use a range of topical products. This will be a great advantage for you as this includes our own medical grade range which extends to prescription retinoic acid. This means you can benefit from accessing topical treatments from us, your sole treatment specialists.

If you have issues with pigmentation and would like to see how we can help you blitz any excess pigment, contact us today to book a consultation with our specialist dermal clinician.

We'll answer your questions and show you how easy it is to get started.
